SeyYar; is the first and only marine navigation software developed in Turkey which uses S-57 electronic maps (ECDIS maps).

SeyYar communicates with GPS and AIS hardware, receives, processes and shows realtime data on the detailed vector maps; aiding your navigation.

SeyYar; has been developed by Doga Teknoloji team at the end of long-term research and development facilities. SeyYar, targets to minimize the mariners' navigation bottlenecks and add maximum benefit to navigation using the advanced technology.

  • Dangerous Zone Alert (If approaching any prohibited forbidden / military / safety zones)

  • AIS Alert (If there are any AIS ships nearby within the ownship range)
  • Wind Alert (If approachin any strong winyd location; regarding the online weather report received)
• Weather forecast report including general weather status, temperature, humidity, wind direction and wind speed is received online daily from Doga Teknoloji forecast dataservers. The reports are annoounced daily; including 3 day forecast (12hours period) for local coastal towns. The data is collected from NASA - USA and is updated through the internet by one-button-update feature within the software.

By the enhanced alert feature you are warned before there is a navigation danger; not at the time your boat sits on the rocks ! The alert feature works by the power of vector charts and queries data related to information received from the GPS / AIS receivers and related to your waypoints stored in the system.
• Is maintained and updated on regularly basis by Doga Teknoloji team. The software updates are automatically downloaded through the Internet. SeyYar; offering online software, weather report and other related updates; is a full-dynamic system unlike current GPS chartplotters or ECDIS systems.

SeyYar operates on most recent PC hardware but is does have the following base system requirements:

• Intel / AMD CPU (Intel Pentium-4 2.0 Ghz or frequency)
• Minimum 256 MB RAM (1GB or higher recommended for flawless performance)
• At least 150 MB hard disk space (Can require up to 500MB depending on the number of maps purchased)
• CD / DVD-ROM reader
• Internet connection for activating the software following the initial setup
• Internet connection for receiving periodic updates of charts, map catalogs, software, weather forecast reports, etc.
• Microsoft Windows 2000 / XP / Vista / 7 operating system (32bit only)

Product setup steps are as follows:

• SeyYar installation CD is inserted into the computer's CD/DVD reader
• Automated setup will start, if you follow the instructions on the screen, the setup will be completed in a few minutes
• A software activation will occur following the installation; at the first run of the software
• Once the activation is completed, the GPS settings will be configured for once.
